David Gagnon Walker

A Sunday Afternoon in Point Pleasant Park (Halifax, Nova Scotia)

Dull ache in the morning. Dull ache
in the morning. Landscape picture,
sideways. Landscape picture, portrait.
Can we touch the water with our hands?

The beach! The beach! Can we touch
the water with our fingers? And the
flowers seem to shine. And the woodpecker
seems to shine. Paddle, banana. Dull
ache on the wind. Container ship in
the distance. Dull ache on the wind.
